Since some people were asking, Nerd Rage still has a chat room, only the interface that allows you to access it is gone from the site. Considering our room is an IRC chat room (Internet Relay Chat) it is a good idea to download a dedicated program, called an IRC Client, to connect to and use a chat room properly.

Above is mIRC, the most well known and original IRC proggy, it's free and small to download. Once downloaded, you'll need to set up the program to use. The details you'll need are:

A Nickname (Obviously), email address, full name (can be made up) and the server address to which to connect, this is: irc.thegaminguniverse.nl on port 6667 (which should be default)

Once connected to the server, you may type /join #NerdRage, or type /list for a list of chat rooms on the server.

Nerd Rage is about to undergo a new default style, at present it will be the only style available for people to use, all others will be removed. It will give the forums a new, more streamlined look and feel.

The transition will take place soon (or maybe already has depending when you read this)
